Jie-Ren has a broader view of architecture and built environment and the message from the land is always an inspiration for him. The heavy workload from the office does not deter him from setting up his own greenhouse, where he plants and keeps his miniature horticultural world.
 
Jie-Ren's interest in landscape architecture fits well with our holistic way towards architectural practice, and in it, the division of work is not strengthened, and designers are asked to work on every aspect of the project from schematic design to construction document. The often-neglected landscape design can be carefully looked at under Jie-Ren's eyes.
