Started as a product designer, Kao ended up working in an interior design firm before enrolling in architectural program for his second professional degree at Tunhai University where he studied under architect Chang’s design studio. Upon graduation, Kao soon jointed JYCA to venture into architectural practice.
 
Kao enjoys work in the office as well as on the job site. He believes that a great deal of learning and the sense of accomplishment is from the execution of a project.
